Smudges of RainbowsMar 26, 2008 - 12:13 PM PST smudges of rainbows on my fingertips bring out the olives in my eyes, observe a world of blue-glitter nail polish, brick red lipstick on chapped lips, a world of holes in the webbed hose right on the kneecaps where the hairs poke out or is that just the lace on the black garter that’s slipped down -- pulled down -- who can remember, anyways? hide the blisters behind the high heels pumps down the backstreets littered with smacked tissues -- whose mouths did they once muffle? can you taste the false pheromones lingering in the gutters that once choked a stumpy man who choked a red headed he-she because it got him off? |
