Something Catastrophic

Have you ever wondered what would happen if something catastrophic were to happen?
Let us pretend for a moment that something terrible happened and the world was about to end.
What would you do?
Would you cower in the corner of some hidden room, awaiting the moment until your death?
Would you run to that one person you always loved in secret and ask them to love you back?
Would you get down on your knees and kiss the very earth they walk upon, the earth that is quickly being destroyed?
Would you confess all your deepest feelings to them and forget about rejection and all the heartache you’ve felt for them?
Would you pretend for a moment that you were someone else? Someone braver, kinder, stronger, more selfless than you, yourself, had been?
Would you have dreamed more often so things would have changed for you?
