The epic long battle continues...

I’ve tightly crossing my fingers that I might actually get a job I recently applied for. This is turning into an epic long battle. I went yesterday for Chinese food with a couple of friends and right smack dab in the middle of the entrance window was a large sign, “Dishwasher wanted, apply inside.” Someone cue the random heavenly beam of light, I’ve found my calling. So I talked to one of the owners, I gave her my resume, and she said she would call me. Good thing I ACTUALLY put my phone number on this resume. Unlike the last one. I sat around for two weeks trying to figure out why they wouldn't call.

I said that one of my activates or “hobbies” is baking. Which it isn’t, obviously. I can’t cook for the life of me. My idea of baking is the little pink easy bake oven. Does any one remember those? Where it took like an entire day just to get a cake the size of your palm to cook. Usually I got frustrated with the stupid light bulb that was supposed to cook it and ended up throwing it out. And then on top of that hassle, you were expected to share your "creation".

This is when my mother introduced me into the “big girl” oven. I now proudly can say; I can make a mean sugar cookie.

I remember the easy bake. In fact I still have one and use it every once and a while. One time I made my own version of a spice cake in it. It was really good and then I poured chocolate over which just made it taste so much better.
