The PosersApr 29, 2008 - 20:37 PM PST They talk the talk, but fail to convince; lies. They create facades that in future, die. In groups they dwell with tortured souls that divide, But laugh and play and sing while True selves hide. Their thirst for acceptance dominates their minds. Then laughter follows--the words are unkind. When Attention wants dumbness, they conform, But found in clouded minds, their brilliance mourns. They seek approval, lay aside desires, And hope that someday, fame they might acquire. Opinions don't exist. Dissolving pawns-- The posers lose all being. Truth is gone. |
