The Power of Family

Ever wonder where you would be if it wasn't for your family? Most people do. It's important to have a close relationship with your family, because you never know when you may have to rely on them, or call on them for help. I am very close with my family, and I make it my business to see my family every four years for family reunions across the USA.

One thing that has been bothering me, is the fact that my older cousin did not abide by this rule. He wasn't raised to be crazy and deranged, but that is the person that he is today. He has beared 8 wonderful children, but they are being corrupted by his deranged ways. He has lost his home last year and he had took his wife and kids and didn't tell the family anything. We always wondered where the hell he was, and were the kids safe. These are treacherous weather conditions. It was -2 degrees just yesterday!

So last Sunday at morning church service, we receive word from a valuable source that one of the kids were getting abused by their father and had been hospitalized (he's still in the hospital - currently diagnosed with Chromes Disease), and that the kids were fine and now staying with my uncle. The bad news is that my uncle is pretty old, and shouldn't be taking care of 8 kids under one roof, so now were stuck with trying to decide which family member is going to take which child. We hate to split them up, but we know NO ONE is going to take all 8 children, nor have the space for all of them. This goes without saying, if my cousin would have just associated with our family more, he probably wouldn't be in the predicament that he is in.
