The Sky's Gone Out

I watch her eyes kindle fire
As she describes the sky
"The clouds! There's the slightest hint of sunshine catching on the clouds, and I felt so alive! And I just stared at the clouds and I nearly died"
Her heart tore wide
Open
And I slowly lapped at the blood
Like a hungry bat
She cried
The tears rolled down her
Pale cheeks
Like clowns and
I laugh mad
Like my mother
Used to laugh
When I would cry
