Theater...

So...I am ushering for my school musical [14th & 15th of March] and last night when I was there watching the musical I realized somthing...I miss theater. I miss being backstage. I miss the make-up, cosumtes and just the fun of acting and being in front of people that enjoy the show as much as you have grown to love the show. i haven't really decided what I'm going to do next year for theater and speech. My mom and my Speech coach think I am better at Speech than Theater but, I like theater more. [not our director] The energy before the opening night, the energy after you first walk on stage, knowing you just did your best and all the sleepless nights and wanting to kill your director for keeping you until 11pm going over the same lines, even though we have over half the play/musical to still go through, I just miss it. Theater was my first love and then Choir and now Speech.I want to be happy with whatever I do next year, and Speech would make me happy but...Theater gives you that rush that can't be compared to Speech. I keep saying that next year I'll just help with the Childrens play and that's it. But then I wonder, "What if I get hooked again?" I love theater and speech I do but I don't want to have to make a choice between the two....Even though I know I will have to.
