These Chains Which Bound Me

I've had chains on my wrists since the day I was born.
I've had orders to follow since I've ever known.
I don't think it'll ever stop,
not even if I want it to.
I know it is my destiny-to be loyal and true.
a free spirit bound since birth.
chained to the dirt that is this earth.
bound by the expectations and disappointment.
bound by the disgusted looks and resentment.
I want to say I've tried to break free.
It looks as so, from the way that I bleed.
but I think I've accepted this certain fate.
If things were to be different, its way too late.
This is my life and these are my chains.
Since the day I was born i've worn them the same.
It doesn't matter how much I hate it or how much it hurts.
Destiny is arleady booked,
there are no special request or plans over looked.
These chains are apart of me,
I think I just need to accept the fact that I'll never be free.
