Why do you "love" me?

Gosh I dunno what it is, but I keep getting hurt every time I let myself be in a relationship again. The weird thing is though that every time, without fail, he'll tell me "I still love you, I know its hard to believe...yada yada yada." Rawr...I dunno how to feel about it either, because i'll admit that I want to believe them...but wouldn't it be kinda stupid for me to? I'll admit, I still have a lot of feelings for my first love and most recent ex...I do feel horrible about those feelings somtimes though because I'm going out with Josh and he can tell that I still want them. I have no idea how to handle this though...like Sean for instance [he's the most recent ex], he still says he loves me and cares about me and he even shows it. He still gives me hugs and says goodnight when we talk online and he even puts hearts next to his goodnights... What do I do for that? I don't know...I'm just so confuzed right now...
