Vacated the Lost

So that title makes no sense. I just got back from a much needed vacation in Hawaii. I hadn't been on vacation in over 2 years and granted I had to work a little on this vacation too, but it was rewarding. I vacationed on the island of Oahu in Hawaii and it was a great chance to get to know a little more about the person I've become. Like I've said I'm not happy with that person, but she struggles and does okay sometimes so I have to give her a little credit where it's due. For you fellow nerds out there, the television show "Lost" is filmed on Oahu and I had to geek it up and go on an unofficial tour of where they film scenes. I met an extra who was one of the Others and a freelance camera man on my tour. But most importantly I visited the North Shore of Oahu in the winter and it was breathtaking and life affirming. I'm moving to someplace like that someday soon. Before I turn 30, that's my goal and it's 2 years away!

This entry was meaningless and vacant, but we all need to get lost every once in a while.

For those fellow Lost geeks I'm posting some pictures of the tour. The first picture is of the crash site used in the pilot episode and other subsequent episodes. I also got to swim in the waterfall where Sawyer and Kate and Nikki and Paolo swam. Bought soap at the fake Nigerian old sugar mill that posed for Nigeria, etc.
