Volleyball Days

So, once again volleyball has taken over my life. We had a tournament in Vegas this last weekend and allthough we didnt do well over all (placed 100th out of 159 teams), we bonded more as a team, and I got the sweetest revenge I could ever ask for. So basically it works like this. Theres this girl that i've always had a rivalry with, and although I am by far the better volleyball player, shes the one that has always gotten the recognition and the awards, even though everyone knows they truly belong to me. And the club team i played for last year cut me for a girl with about half the ability that i have, but shes taller than i am. So the first day in vegas (friday night actually) theres this thing called the senior showcase, where senior players get to show off their skills specific to their position. Well, as luck would have it, my mortal enemy and THE ENTIRE COACHING STAFF of the club that cut me, are all on the same court as I am. So i figure, hey i can take this one of two ways...either suck ass and prove them all right, or I can throw down and just kill it, and make them wish they were all dead. So guess what i did? Thats right. I F*ckin THREW DOWN. It was AMAZING!!!!! My passes were perfect, every single one of them. My hits were killer. And the best part of it all, was 1) my mortal enimie was stinking up the place, and 2) Everytime i looked over at the coaches they were all staring at me and shaking there heads like "damn, we screwed up." It was the absolute best feeling in the world.

Now, don't take me wrong, I'm not the kind of person that will go out of there way to make someone feel like shit or take revenge upon them. But when Karma kicks in, I take FULL advantage. And boy did Karma have my back. I LOVED IT!!

so anyways...greatest night of my life, so far at least. I was on cloud 9 in 7th heaven. It was amazing.

Now the rest of the tournament, I injuried my knee, but was still able to kill it and do awesome. I got interest from about 4 other schools, But none good enough to make me reconsider my decision to go to Ohio.

During that tournament I also scored the tie breaking block and the winning kill in our last match. It was awesome. Best High On Earth. I seriously think i'm addicted to adreniline.
