honestly, a good sense of humor
and two matching potholes
can cure anything, even if cancer
gives you french fries, maybe
I’ve gone too far – spidered
eyelashes aren’t always so becoming
especially in billowed allies put on
in black and white, just pay no attention
to the bleeding bodies and I will let you spit
on me if you feel so inclined
although, toads were never my favorite
unless nestled in the folds of your back
but I’ve never been one to willingly
go up in flames.
