Welcome to the real world, it sucks, you're going to love it

Alrighty so after school today I went a-job hunting. Let me just say this: rejection sucks. I mean, I live in a town where my options for jobs are very limited so I basically went to every store I could find. I managed to get 2 rejections, one maybe(and it was like the maybe, but I garantee it's probably going to be a "no" and two applications. Honestly I TRIED to be so nice to these people I TRIED so hard to look like a I was going to be a freaking good employee. But is that enough for these people? Noooooo. They're going to be sorry that they didn't hire me. I would have been the best freaking employee. EVER.

So I'm going to probably end up working at a gas station. Sad, I know, but we all have to start somewhere I guess. My work experience includes babysitting and "Bring Your Kids to Work Day."
They asked on the job application if I'm legal to work in Canada. Which basically, in a nut shell, they're asking nicely, "Are you an illegal immigrant?"
Uh, no?
When do I want to work?
Weekends.
Have you even been convicted of a criminal offense? If so give details.
WHAT IS THIS!?
Do you have a vaild driver's license?
Ugh.

I'm soooo not going to get this job. I can't fill out any of this crap. The only thing I'm going to get right is spelling my name.

This is so hard. THIS IS THE KIND OF STUFF THEY SHOULD BE TEACHING YOU IN SCHOOL! Tell me again, why don't they? This should be a MANDITORY course. I'm so confused, I don't know where to start.

Hmm.


My discovery of the day: People are telling me that High School are the best years of my life. And High School sucks. So does that mean that the real world is even WORSE?
