What does it mean to be in love?

Dec 21, 2007 - 18:07 PM PST

so i was thinking about this question....hmmm love, such a powerful thing. too many people throw it around and use it and abuse it. i dont believe in saying it unless you completely mean it.
i think love, real love at that is very rare, its hard to find. and when you think youre in love you better be damn sure! real love is hard, but easy. i believe when you love someone you just know, theres no wondering or questioning, because seriously...if you have to ask yourself if youre really in love with a person, i believe you really arent!! there should be no doubt, but thats just my opinion....id love to hear what you all think though...

You're right. The word "love" is over used. People confuse crushing on someone for loving that person. And if you do ask yourself if you love that person, you're answer should be "why am I asking myself this? I should be ashamed of myself for doubting my feelings for a moment."

Peace.

ha. too true. love is thrown around like a catch-phrase these days. i get a bit annoyed when i hear people cooing it to their boy/girlfriends. kind of pisses me off actually. and yes i agree with the love is hard but easy bit too. ha. i get into heated conversations and leave long comments when someone says that they want to know the definition of love. it just angers me when i hear someone i know that is so madly into some guy/girl and then they just "fall out of love". gah! that doesnt happen. people dont fall out of love. if so, then it wasnt love in the first place. love keeps going even when feelings stop. *mumbles* so yeah. ha... on another note i have a question for you. do you think it is possible to love someone (not romantically, pleh pleh feelings) that you have never met?
