When I am not afraid.

"When I am not afraid, I will become a juggernaut of idealism. My character will not suffer at the hands of my reputation. My principles will be a matter of life and death, my pride will not. My deeds will bring terrene peace rather then lofty exaltation. I will handle the lightest of details with the utmost gravity, and the gravest matters with the greatest levity. I will manifest as the vagabond captain of a great sky-ship. I will build this dirigible with skilled hands. Crewed by my fellow fearless compatriots we will conjugate the world. We will love with a relentlessly gentle passion. We will become amorous paladins of understanding. Caring with the ferocity and grace of the samurai warrior. Discourse our swords. Patients our sheaths. Fighting the false logics of hatred and greed. We will travel to the Congo, Bosnia, Texas. We will travel to these foreign spaces, not to preach, but to seek. Seeking those parts of our hearts which know what it means to be Bantu, Bosniak, and Texan. Once aware we will foster growth. Growth that will truly embody the deep cultural desires of the people. Seeing every dilemma, and dispute as a vehicle for change. Collecting these experiences, and trading them like a divine currency we will become rich and fat. We will sit enormous and numerous, like six billion Buddhas bellies full of warm contentment, and then it will be still, when we are not afraid."

P.S. No I didn't get the scholarship, so now the question is what will I do when I'm no longer in dept up to my eyeballs.
