It could be the toothfairy, but the last tooth I lost was in 1943 And even then she didn't pay me a visit I guess she must have been busy visiting all the millions of Other children whose teeth had fallen out In peanut butter sandwiches or granny apples. Every time I lost a tooth it was on hard candy. I guess the tooth fairy thought that was dumb. |
