What was I yesterday?
Who is to say?

I am Pop-eye
I'm Bluto
I'm Ronald McDonald
I'm homeless
I'm broke
I'm just your average bloke
I'm Merlin
King Arthur
A poet
An author
I'm rich
I am famous
I am Casanova
I'm kicked to the curb
Someone whose love you don't deserve
I am God
I am Satan
I am lion hear me roar
A dragon on wings do I soar
I am a drop of water falling from the sky
A philosopher doomed to always ask why
A teacher
A student
An advice columnist
Someone seeking advice
I am the wolf chasing pigs
I am three bumbling blind mice
I am the butcher
The baker
I am the candlestick maker
I am Jack
I am Jill
Always falling down this bloody steep hill
I am who I am
That's all I can be
I am nothing
I am everything I have ever wanted to be
I am unwritten
My spine broken from constant reading
I am a lover
A hater
The guy telling you "See you later!"
I am the man you saw pleading
The one whose heart you left bleeding
I am the wind in your hair
The shadow on the ground
I am whatever I think I am
I am me
