Word?

Word: a combination of sounds that is a unit of language.

Its funny how something so simple and yet so complex such as words or sayings can describe so much, can bring out emotions that we never knew we had, bring cheer and happiness to a lot of people, but these words and sayings can bring power, authority over other people just by the way it is used or by the tone in your voice, and yet a lot of the times we use these words and sayings for the worse, for the wrong, to put people down to try and mentally hurt someone, to not speak up for the sake of others, to silently watch from the side never to help. I often wonder what it would be like with no words in the world where no one spoke, where no one could write or read, and I always picture a world that is nothing, that is dead, because in the end that is what makes us, these words that describe what we are what where made of, everything is made up of words. Our given names, history its self is just books full of words about the past, we must have these words to express ourselves to tell our stories in hope of them continuing down the line many years from now. Without these simple words and sayings we are nothing.

Do you get what I am saying or dose this simple yet complex scramble of words that I have put together confuse you?

I totally get what your saying. The power of words is truly profound. Not just in the romantic sense as with Shakespeare or seduction, but also in the practical sense like with neural linguistic programing and nonviolent communication.
