You never knew me.........

Mar 15, 2008 - 03:12 AM PST

I forgot what it was like feeling out of place. I've returned back to small stature......another face you pass by and never processed. Ehh, it's what I expected. Shit, I was prepared. Starting over is just what I needed.

I moved From Georgia to Portland, Oregon almost a year ago. Culture shock? You're right!

I'm still stuck on the first sentence. Feeling out of place..........that phrase is even relevant with family. I have no quarrels with them, in fact love them, but I'm not one of them. The same sense of humor, but not the same mindset. It's also the first time I felt like this around family. It's another brick added to the wall protecting Noodle. This could be him just studying every word and facial expression processed, filed, stored and ready for analyzation (He always worked like an office. Just not like Dunder-Mifflin).

Noodle was inspired by Freud. Being able to get into other's minds, understand why they are who they are. Noodle has aspirations to understand himself as much as Freud's brain did. Only then will Noodle help make me complete.

In case you were curious, yes i have humanized my brain with a name.

I idenify with you. I'm about to move for my job. I'm looking forward to the growth, but I'm just starting to feel like I might belong here. I love my family too. I know they care for me, but I can be at the dinner table amung lively conversation and yet feel like the only person in the room. I'm the lone artistic liberal arts person in the family. Everyone else is math/science people. I long to find a place and people that feel like home to me. Give it time, I have to belive that sometime soulmates can be found in the least likely places.
