i'm brenda, i'm 18, i'm in school for medical assistance, i'm 5'9. i have a dog, his name is tommy, i have a bird, his name is paulie [original, i know]. i have an older brother,whos is like my best friend & amazing parents. i guess you could say i'm mature for my age. i'm responsible, open, honest, and sarcastic. if you think i'm being mean...it's probably just my sarcasm, i swear.
i guess i can't say "i don't bite, be my friend" but i do, so...be my friend anyway?

hmmm. 1. prove your mettle and say you know Damien Rice. 2. Photography is an artform, that if you have an eye for, please, do us a favor and capture the beauty the masses miss in their daily lives. 3. Music is life, your more than worth your weight in gold if you've managed a music library. Music's only as good as what you can take from it, and it sounds like you've found alot. Everything...doesnt really matter. (odd side note, if your as in tune with musical empathy as you say... maybe look into psychology) :p Laters

with the slowdown in the server, it's tough to stay active on the site for all of us. i've got a lot going on in my personal life right now. all good things, just a lot to do. we'll see what happens to the site when school lets out.

after a storm

i've always loved storms.
especially late at night when the wind is going crazy
throwing the rain around, smacking it against my window.
i love laying in bed attempting to fall asleep
&then seeing this flas of beautiful light that's gone in a millisecond
and then the huge roar of the thunder afterwards.
when i was younger i'd always ask my mom if i could go stand outside when it rained.
i'd lift my head up and let the water fall on my face.
reach my hands up and try to touch the clouds.
spin around and around until i fell in the mud.
&now, i watch it from my window, watch the rain fall from my window, making tiny streams.
wishing that one person was with me right that second, just to watch the storm and appreciate it as much as i always have.
i love the smell after a storm.
the smell of water and mud and leaves and rocks.
i always find myself picking up the worms that got washed out unto the sidewalk
placing them back on the grass hoping they find their way back.
