Interests

Music

,I have a diverse set of music that I'm interested in. I just discovered Pandora and have created several stations there.

I created this list of stations on Pandora. It's a really great service.

,

Film

,My favorite movie of all time is Top Gun. Why that is is a long story. Anything with Audrey Hepburn in it. Stardust,Ratatouille (Pixar's best). I'm not real picky when it comes to movies as long it is not overly depressing. I saw the Namesake the other day, which was a good film artistically, but it left me with a weird feeling at the end. We Are Marshall was a good movie, but again,it had a tragic beginning and a so so ending.,

Books

,Most anything I read in my junior and senior years of high school: Atlas Shrugged,Seawolf,The Agony and the Ecstasy,Cantebury Tales,Plato's Republic,Candide,Dr. Zhivago. Dr. Zhivago is a real work of art. After reading it,I wrote a poem which used some of the same stylistic tricks as that book.

I also like science fiction,

Artists

,Any of the old masters pretty much. I'm not really up on contemporary painters or sculpters.,

People like movies about the military--as long as you include an explosion or two and a scene that involves push-ups and other training exercises in the pouring rain either just before dawn or just after dusk, you should have no trouble selling it. I guess, you should probably be careful with how you handle the politics in the story but people love movies about the military, especially those with any ounce of authenticity. I say dig in deep with your research and see where the story takes you.

I am yet another MacBook user, and the show did inspire me to check out this site and post my photography (thanks for your very kind comment!) but I haven't quite gotten up the nerve to post videos. Maybe someday. I'm not into seeing myself on camera. Or hearing my own voice. But this is a great community nonetheless!

I like the imagery Cor! Almost impressionistic looking in my head, but also with a hint of being definitive, and yet uncertain.. I've experienced a little of that somewhat before.

I'm sure yo know that every event is the beginning of the end of something else, and the end of something will always mark a new beginning :)

Heya Cor! thanks for the comment ^_^ Old stuff though, I drew mostly in high school and college. I don't get to do that anymore. I did post a new song which is called Cheer Up a few days ago if you'd like to give it a play ^_^ tell me what you think of it. Thanks again!
