Feels like an exstacy

here we stand, creatures most cant bear to stare at.
sloth like yet with agile ability.
the pupils of a nocturnal mammal are features we have bought.
we change our preferences often, for nothing ever satisfy's us for long periods of time.
tight, fragile packs of us walk down dark paths, in total euphoria.
time is only measured by what it is we feel.
the dreaded draining guilt of morning hours
crawl up the joints and fixate into the nerves
shaking, clenching, thoughtless.
for a few selfish hours.

the aftermath is no apocalypse
we can handle an uncomfortable day
our minds stare into a portal relishing what once was.
what once was, a tasty morsel, a feast of little nutrition.
we devour each others thoughts, it builds to new heights
where we stare upon the very thing we crave.
understanding.

your skin, it fits you better than any tailored suit
your words make more sense than any dictionary meaning
the most complicated puzzle in this world would have so few pieces compared to this mind.
i grasp onto the edge, my upper body never had much strength.
you do not throw me off, you let me settle into a warm patch of feeling
i shall not be leaving any time soon.
you are more than a cheap thrill to this youth.
